Answers phones, books appointments, and helps you get the right care quickly. Often your first point of contact at the practice.

📒Office Manager 

Oversees the running of the reception team to ensure the needs of our patients are addressed  

🩺 GP (Doctor) or Advanced Care Practitioner

Diagnoses and treats a wide range of health problems. They listen to your concerns, manage ongoing conditions, and refer you to specialists if needed.

💉 Practice Nurse

Gives vaccinations, medications via injections, wound care, helps manage conditions like asthma or diabetes, and supports general health checks. Works closely with GPs to keep you healthy.

🧑‍⚕️ Nursing Associate

Supports both nurses and HCAs by helping with wound care, health checks, and long-term condition support. Helps make sure care is joined up and consistent.

🩹 Healthcare Assistant (HCA)

Takes blood tests, checks blood pressure, performs ECGs, and helps with basic health checks. Supports nurses and doctors so they can focus on complex care.

💊 Pharmacist (Clinical Pharmacist)

Reviews your medicines to make sure they’re safe and working well. Can help with managing long-term conditions and answering questions about medications.

💼 Pharmacy Technician

Works with the pharmacist to help manage prescriptions, check medication records, and support safe medicine use.

🗂️ Prescription Clerk

Helps process repeat prescriptions, checks details are correct, and works with the pharmacy technician to make sure you get the right medication on time, and safely.

Delivers care during pregnancy and after birth.
They support you and your baby with health checks, advice and preparation for birth.

❤️ Coronary Heart Nurse

Provides support for existing heart conditions.
They help manage your heart health, medication, and lifestyle.

🦴 First Contact Physiotherapist (FCP)

For muscle, joint or back pain.
They assess you and give exercises or advice with  no need to see a GP first.

🤝 Social Prescriber

For help with non-medical issues.
They connect you to support for loneliness, stress, money, housing and more.

🧠 Children’s Mental Health Practitioner

For children with emotional or mental health challenges.
They support young people and families with things like anxiety or behaviour issues.

📋 Practice / Quality Manager

Makes sure the practice runs smoothly, from staffing to finances and services. Works behind the scenes so the team can focus on your care.

Writes medical reports, referrals and is the point of contact for secondary care.
